FS2002, Tobago International Airport, Island of Tobago, Caribbean Region......TTCP

Description:

This scenery realistically creates the Tobago airport, and the immediate surrounding area of Crown Point on the beautiful Island of Tobago. It contains hundreds of trees, Caribbean neighborhoods, a resort hotel, and a completely done front side of the airport with parking, the airports shops, and a flea market. Tobago is the sister Island to Trinidad which I recently released, and it is a nice short hop flying between the two airports. An AFCAD file will be along shortly, especially with the number of parking slots at this airport. There are NO static aircraft in this scenery, and the airport is very full of A1 aircraft with ATC set at 100%.

Installation:

1. Extract the file to your FS2002 Add ON Scenery folder, or to a temporary folder, and then place it there manually, which ever method you prefer.

2. Start up FS2002, then go to the World tab, and then down to Scenery Library, and click to open it. Click on ADD AREA, then find the Tobago folder within the Add On Scenery folder, and click on it. The name Tobago should now appear in the title window, so click OK. Now the name Tobago should be at the top of your Scenery Library list, and highlighted. Then simply click the OK tab at the bottom, and the scenery will begin to install. I always like to go to the airport that I am installing so I can see the before and after.

3.You're done!

Notes:

I have an early Pentium 4 model computer, and with all my sliders set at full blast encountered low frame rates on landing and take off in my most frame rate eating aircraft, but acceptable in other aircraft. If the ATC slider is turned down, the frames were very good for such a dense scenery, especially with the number of trees lining the entire runway.

Credits:

I first must thank the SkyGodess, Rick Matthews, and Mervyn Gaiff, for their part in this scenery of letting me know where everything was located, and for the wonderful pictures and diagrams which they sent to me. These are three people who are very fond of this airport, and know it very well.

Gerd Winterfeld, and John de Langristin's wonderful tree textures enabled me to get a real Caribbean feel at this airport. John's objects also appear as the car parks, and the fantastic flea market macros used behind the airport shops. I've been waiting for the perfect scenery to use these, and here it is.

Richard Powell's tropical trees are also present here, the Banana, and Ficus, which I could not live without, or at least do tropical scenery.

Jorge Pagano's great little cottages can be seen surrounding my hotel down by the beach.

Jimmy Martin's Caribbean houses also can be seen here, they are the blue ones, and are very quaint.

Thanks finally for all the bits and pieces of textures I used from various other scenery. I usually have no idea where they came from, but they are there in my texture folder just crying to be used.

This scenery was created using Airport v2.9 as a base, and the structures were created using a combination of Nova, and EOD.

This scenery is freeware, and may not be used in whole or in part for profit. If you wish to upload it to your site, feel free, as long as there is no charge for it.

If you wish to contact me for any reason, feel free, just be sure to include the scenery name, or the word scenery in the subject line so I don't accidentally delete it. Do not use the word Viagra or it will be deleted for sure. Seems like everyone is selling this stuff these days.
